Not really that I was deprived with a lot of stuff since I decided to go to a dorm.
Yeah, you read it right; I'm residing in a dorm this sem and it took me great courage to decide on it. Besides on the fact that I go home on Fridays, it still took me a big step to do it. Considering lots and lots of stuff to remember; resources, maintenance, relations with the landlady (LOL) and of course what disturbed me a lot: budgeting.
I only have few bucks to spend for the whole day, I'm repeating it-- only a few bucks.
Yesterday I went home and the moment I saw the roof of our dear house I can't help but smile all my way to it. I sat on the couch and felt relief from the tough week I had. Ate good food that only at home where I could have it. There's no place like home, really.
I also felt a great relief of being limited on the things I can have. With those new things I experience since I went in the doorstep of my dorm, I learned the value of such things which before I only ignore.
Sometimes we just have to step back, move away a little and see the real life out there. It's worth seeing it.
